How to Create a 2% Slope for Drainage Part 2 Floor Levelness Firepit Patio Series Video 3

Описание к видео How to Create a 2% Slope for Drainage Part 2 Floor Levelness Firepit Patio Series Video 3

These are Videos 3 and 4 of my series on how to build a masonry firepit, paver patio, and masonry retaining wall. In the world of design and construction one of the primary questions we ask ourselves is: How does water drain from the system?

This is the second of several videos that will address how to drain water from the masonry elements that I will be installing. It begins with understanding the concepts of Floor Flatness (FF) and Floor Levelness (FL).

These two videos go over the concepts of Floor Levelness (FL) and, most important, how to calculate the current slope of your grade, and figure out how to achieve a 2% slope for proper drainage.

In these two videos, I will teach you how to set a level, run a stringline, and attain your variables for your slope calculations. We will use these variables to ultimately calculate how much dirt we need to remove from our location to get to a 2% slope on our Dirt Floor drainage plane.

My little yard varment Mark runs off and tries to get in a brawl in the park, mid-math on this one, so be sure to watch Video 4 which is the continuation and conclusion of the calcs.
