Van Life in Japan: Exploring rural Nara and Mie's shrines and rice terraces

Continuing my trips out in Roland, my Suzuki Every minivan, I decided to explore my locality by taking in some of the completely unremarked upon but beautiful local shrines in Nara Prefecture and my own Mie Prefecture. As a bonus, it is also autumn meaning the trees and foliage was looking particularly beautiful around Mitsue Village and Misugi Town.

I also took in the Fukano Rice Terraces in Matsusaka City which afforded some wonderful views looking down through the mountain vista.

Join me for a trip in Roland my little Suzuki Every minivan where I take in lots of beautiful sights and also buy a couple of GameBoy games in a second hand store before winding up at my "local" skatepark in Matsusaka City to spend a few hours messing about on my skateboard.
