Hong Kong indie rock and emo band Wellsaid performed live in Seoul, South Korea on March 7, 2026 at Seendosi Annex during their first Korean tour. Known for calling themselves “Hong Kong’s best emo band and worst blues band,” Wellsaid brought their energetic DIY spirit and emotionally charged sound to the Seoul underground music scene.

Formed in Hong Kong, Wellsaid originally drew inspiration from Midwest emo and 90s indie rock, but their sound has continued to evolve, incorporating elements of post-hardcore, punk, noise, and math rock. Their music often focuses on fragments of everyday life and the emotions of people living in dense urban environments, turning those feelings into raw and honest songs.

The band has been deeply involved in the Asian DIY music community, touring and building connections with artists across the region including VOOID (Taiwan), Forests (Singapore), Chinese Football (China), and Texas 3000 (Japan). Their first Korea tour included shows in Busan and Seoul, connecting Hong Kong’s indie scene with Korea’s underground music community.

This Seoul show took place at Seendosi Annex, an intimate venue in the city’s independent music scene, with local support from Uruk and the Pungakjaengi. The performance captured the band’s passionate live energy and the close connection between the band and the audience that defines DIY shows.

The tour follows the release of their third album “REGRETOPIA” (2024), a record that pushed the band further into punk and post-hardcore territory while exploring themes of separation, loss, friendship, and life in crowded cities.
