Honeywell EnergySmart 360 Degree Surround Heater HZ445R - How to Use

How to use the settings on your HZ-445R Honeywell 360 degrees ceramic surround heater.

First make sure that the heater is plugged in. This heater has a constant heat modes or you can set the thermostat to any preferred comfort setting. Turn the heater on by pressing the power button this heater will always start in the high constant heat mode where high will blink in the display three times. In high the heater will remain on maximum power of 1500 watts. This heater will then display the current temperature in your room the current temperature will be displayed in
solid red and remain displayed until you change the setting. In this instance the current room temperature is 74 degrees. To change the setting to low where the heater will operate at 900 watts press the temp set button once until low appears in the display. To use the thermostat and choose your desired comfort setting press the temp set button to choose your desired temperature. The chosen desired temperature will blink three times in the display and then the current room
temperature will display steadily.

Note this heater is equipped with many safety features one being a 360 degree safety tip switch which disables the heater if tipped in any direction. Make sure you are not tipping the heater while using the settings for the heater will remain off. To use the timer function press the timer button and choose 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The heater will run for that chosen period and automatically shut off after the desired time is passed. This heater includes a remote that can set your temperature or timer remotely. To select your heat direction use the lever in the back of the heater. Press the lever down to choose 180 degree directional heating. To select all-around heating press the
lever up to choose 360 degree surround heating.
