I now have to UP my Overtime hours just to pay the bills I have at home | Child Support Modification

Описание к видео I now have to UP my Overtime hours just to pay the bills I have at home | Child Support Modification

Dad makes $40 per hour and worked a lot of overtime last year because of natural disasters

This is a motion to modify child support

Overtime is not guaranteed so Dad doesn't want it in the calculation of child support

Mom has an Oregon Health Plan OHP for their two minor children

Dad resides in Texas

Dad has his two non-biological kids who his the sole providers (His Wife's kids)

Currently, the overtime has stopped and he is only scheduled to work 2 hours of overtime

When the last child support order was entered Dad was working construction as a Pipe Fitter making $32 per hour, he still works construction but makes more now

If you have a history of earning overtime then it will be used for child support purposes

Dad hasn`t seen his kids in three years because they moved to Oregon

Mom is not allowed to just uproot the children and move them 25 miles away without getting the court's permission

The State calculations are incorrect for the medical costs

They're charging Dad $650 a month for medical insurance when there's no proof that the mother has any private health insurance on the kids

Mom testified she has the kids on Medicaid

Dad is paying $300 per month to the state of Oregon for the Medicaid program for his kids (Dad resides in Texas)

We don`t hear mention of the two kids' ages except that one is going emancipate shortly, which will result in a reduction of his child support

There is no such thing as a forced order for Medicaid

No court order in the state of Texas forces parents to stay on welfare

Mom with ZERO Overnights objects to Overtime being used to calculate her Child Support

Child support is money paid by one parent to the other parent for the purpose of providing financial support to a child or children. Most frequently, child support is paid by the non-custodial parent to the custodial parent, but this is not always the case. Depending on where you live and the agreement you reach, the child support you pay or receive and what expenses it should cover will vary.
