The series was created to spark interest in the life of Cleopatra and how she rose to power being the last ruler of her Greek Dynasty and how her Greek Dynasty was established in the first place. It will briefly take you on the journey of Alexander The Great's Conquest to explain how her Greek ancestry rose to power in Egypt.

Hi my name is Brian Baker Sr and I love history and I watched a few stories of Cleopatra on YouTube and found her life fascinating. When I saw short videos, they would always be stand-alone videos with no follow-on stories so I was compelled to create this short series so there would be follow-on stories about Cleopatra and the story of how she came to power.

It was not my intent to have a deep dive documentary of Cleopatra's life, but rather touch the surface of her life's story so it would compel YOU to dive deeper and learn about her. I feel the series will touch upon or mention events, places or names that will spark interest for further research for those interested.

I tried my best to make the information presented as accurate as possible. It might not be perfect so if you are a historian or even a student studying what is presented in this series, please leave a comment so we can all be enlightened.

I included paintings that are world renowned from the greatest artist who ever lived and the approximate timeframe that the work was done (circa) or (c.) for video that goes with the story being told. One example is Charles Le Brun who painted in the 1600s. He has more paintings of Alexander the Great than any other artist and his LIFETIME MASTERPIECE is featured in Episode 8 when Alexander entered Babylon after the defeat of Darius III.
