One morning, AumSum opened his eyes and instantly felt something odd. His feet were stuck in tiptoe mode. No matter how hard he tried, his heels wouldn’t touch the ground. He walked to the mirror, wobbling on the tips of his toes. His reflection stared back in confusion.

Outside, everything looked hilarious. People moved like sneaky cats trying not to make a sound. Supermarkets were filled with wobbling shoppers, students wrote exams while balancing on their toes, and entire construction crews operated cranes on tiptoe. Even dogs and cats were tiptoeing around, trying not to slip.

At first, AumSum thought it was fun. He tiptoed past puddles without splashing, snuck up on birds without scaring them, and could even reach higher shelves in the kitchen. But as the day wore on, his calf muscles started to burn, and his balance wobbled. People began falling more often. Hospitals overflowed with twisted ankles and tired toes.

In a nearby town, a high-rise fire broke out. The emergency crew struggled to climb stairs or hold hoses while tiptoeing. Time was running out.

AumSum realized he had to act. He strapped on springs to his shoes, giving him just enough bounce to mimic a natural walk without touching his heels. Balancing carefully, he raced across the city, bouncing on his tiptoed springs.

People watched in awe as he reached the fire site. The trapped people were stuck on the rooftop. Helicopters couldn’t land because everyone, including pilots, was tiptoeing - even in mid-air.

Thinking fast, AumSum used his bouncy springs to leap from one building to another, climbing higher and higher. With his final jump, he reached the roof. Using a rolled-up banner as a chute, he helped people slide down safely onto soft mattresses placed by fire crews below.

Everyone cheered. AumSum’s idea had saved the day.
