Trimbakeshwar in Nashik is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and the only one where Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are worshipped together through a three-faced lingam.

The temple was rebuilt in the 18th century by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao in black basalt stone, following the Hemadpanthi style. It stands at the base of the Brahmagiri hills, where River Godavari quietly emerges, flowing first as a sacred stream before nourishing the land.

Seen from above, the temple’s layout resembles a Sri Yantra, reflecting a deeper alignment of space, energy, and form.

Every Monday's in the evening Trimbakraj "Mukut" placed atop the lingam is unveiled as a symbol of Bhagwan Shiv’s royalty.

Trimbak, the Three-Eyed One, reminds us that the divine is often hidden in plain sight. You just need the right eye to see it.
