Custom Backyard Fitness Center - Convert your basketball court into a gym

Check out this basketball court conversion!

The centerpiece of this backyard fitness center is a customized Movestrong jungle gym, which was the first piece we installed. Second, the turf was installed and was cut around the jungle gym. Check out the video and look at the white lines in the turf. You'll notice that the white turf is stitched in!

Now, this wouldn't be a complete backyard fitness center without a few more additions.

1) We wanted to create a shaded area that protected our clients from the sun so they could exercise at all hours. A sail shade from Got Shade was our solution, and it is a highly durable and aesthetically pleasing source of shade. Check out the video to see the large posts that were installed to handle a sail shade of this size.

2) With medicine balls, TRX, UMAX free weights and more, we needed a storage solution. Tuff Shed is highly recommended for outdoor storage and we've used them many times.

3) With a sail shade installed for daytime exercise, we also needed a solution in the darkness as well. You'll see that the outdoor area has LED lights, is wired for sound, and has a HIIT clock affixed in an easy-to-see area.

4) If know me and have followed my videos, you'll know I love balance beams, so we had to install one here. Stabilization exercises are important, but safety first! With moisture, the surface of the balance beam was very slick, so we used grip tape and cut it to fit the surface of the beam.

5) Don't forget to stretch! A ballet barre was also included in this design.
