I hope this helps people to decide on Silencing rings. I was searching a lot for a comparison but I have not found one. It's recorded with a phone so just wear headphones, the difference is pretty night and day!

Keyboard: HHKB Pro BT (NOT HYBRID!)
Lube: 205g0 x 105 Mix
Rings: KBDFans Silence X Ring

In my opinion, the silencing rings are great if you don't like the top-out sounds. IT IS POSSIBLE to just lube the top housing and then achieve the same effect but silencing rings are more even and effective.

** There are also other rings like Deskeys that have varying sizes, but I just have these KBD ones lying around so I decided to use them for a friend's board. These rings also have been used for years, so maybe they're thinnder after being squished in and out so many times.

I've only used Topre for a week so take everything with a grain of salt.
