Lung cancer यह ज्यादातर पुरुषोंमें सबसे common पाए जाने वाला कैंसर होता है। इसका प्रमुख कारन smoking होता है। Lung कैंसर जानलेवा हो सकता है क्योकि यह शुरुवाती stages में symptoms दिखाता नहीं और जब stage 4 तक पोहोच जाता है तब diagnose होता है। यह बोहत तेजी से हमारे शरीर के दूसरे organs में फैलता है।

Lung cancer निदान होने का average age 55 से 60 वर्ष होता है। Smokers में Lung कैंसर सबसे ज्यादा पाया जाता है यह सच है लेकिन आजकल pollution, passive smoking के कारन Lung कैंसर का non smokers में प्रमाण बोहत तेजी से बढ़ रहा है।

Lung cancer का सबसे common symptom Cough होता है जो 2 महीने से continuously हो रहा है और medicines लेने के बाद भी बंद नहीं हो रहा। अगर आपको cough के साथ खून आ रहा है, weight loss हो रहा है, या आवाज में बदलाव महसूस हो रहा है तो हो सकता है की आपको कोई infection या early stage Lung cancer की आशंका है।

Lung cancer diagnosis में सबसे पहले डॉक्टर्स पेशेंट्स का X - ray निकालते है, जिसके बाद CT scan और biopsy की जाती है। अगर इन tests में Lung cancer का निदान होता है तो हर Lung cancer के पेशेंट का PET scan किया जाता है जिससे हम Lung cancer का stage और treatment method तय करते है।

Lung cancer की treatment में 3 types होते है - Chemotherapy, Radiation therapy, और Surgery। पेशेंट की requirement के नुसार ट्रीटमेंट मेथड सिलेक्ट की जाती है। Medical advancements की वजह से Lung cancer की ट्रीटमेंट में बोहत बदलाव आये है और ट्रीटमेंट बोहत सहज हो गयी है जिसके कोई side effects भी नहीं होते।
