NEW UPDATE!! LIYUE CHRONICLED WISH BANNER IN 5.3 | Ganyu, Childe, Baizhu And Xiao - Genshin Impact

The winners will be announced in one week. the Chronicled Wish banner has been causing some confusion. If you don’t know what this banner is, i will make it quick. Chronicled Wish is a special type of banner that was first introduced during the initial half of version 4.5. This banner was unique as it featured not only six five-star characters but also a selection of five-star weapons, including some limited items such as Beacon of the Reed Sea, Song of Broken Pines, Eula, Klee, and Albedo.

Yesterday, a new leaker named flyingflames, gave us a new info about version 5.3. Basically, version 5.3 will bring back chronicled wish banner and this time, it will be liyue’s chronicled wish banner. About the leaker, Although FlyingFlames is new, their info was later confirmed by Team Mew, a reliable source. I still don’t know why mihoyo is bringing back the chronicled banner in a patch that’s already packed with content. I mean version 5.3 will feature mavuika, literally the pyro archon and citlali, and i know for sure that more than 80% of the players are going to wish for mavuika. Throwing in a chronicled banner will not be a smart move of mihoyo. In my opinion, the info is still too early to be accurate. I don’t want you to trust everything said by the data miners, especially with versions that are ages away. So make sure to be skeptical about the info.

Let’s say the info is accurate. Then the question is, who will be included in this chronicled banner? Well as the name suggests, it will be liyue chronicled banner. We will see characters like, childe, xiao, yelan, baizhu, qiqi, keqing, ganyu and their weapons. We’re definitely not going to see hutao in that banner. Hutao will receive a banner in 5.1 so there is no way mihoyo would include her. Same goes for shenhe and cloud retainer. One of the rules of the chronicled banner is a character must have had 3 or more event banners to be included in this banner. Shenhe only appeared twice and Cloud retainer has only appeared once. So they won’t be part of the chronicled banner.

Mihoyo could also add characters from another region. They didn’t specifically said this banner will only include characters from the same region. But honestly, i don’t think they would do it. A lot of liyue characters are already missing so there is no room left for characters from another region. Version 5.3 is not a dry patch as i said before, it brings a lot of new content and characters, these includes mavuika and Citlali as the new characters, new archon quest, the lantern rite event, and possibly a new area. If they actually release a liyue chronicled banner in 5.3, then that completely changes the pattern, was there even any pattern to begin with? Mihoyo is so unpredictable for real. For the reruns in this patch, honestly, it could be anyone. Let’s wait for the official announcement before jumping to conclusions. The Lantern Rite event’s timing was recently changed from 5.4 to 5.3, so the Chronicled Wish banner info could also change
