Peter Garrett has had many chapters in his life story.
He's been a musician, an environmental lobbyist, and a politician, to name a few.

In 2022, after more than four decades performing all over the world, Midnight Oil are about to embark on their final tour.
The band began its life playing in sweaty pubs in the inner city and in tiny country towns, and eventually made a pivotal journey into the centre of Australia.

After his career with The Oils, Peter also had a career in Federal politics after two stints as the President of the Australian Conservation Foundation.
During his time with the ACF he was instrumental in helping to establish both the Wet Tropics of Far North Queensland and Jervis Bay on the South Coast of NSW as protected areas.
