Canterbury Museum | Natalie Travel's

Описание к видео Canterbury Museum | Natalie Travel's

Hello I am Natalie and you are you. Welcome to Natalie Travel's the only travel series on YouTube with a budget so low I can barely feed myself. All joking aside, I decided that I needed a gap year and here is my video diary documenting all of my adventures.

Today started out by taking a wrong turn, ranting about traffic lights and kicking my way through a lot of leaves. But I did eventually get to where I was going, Canterbury Museum. It was a lovely day and really interesting to learn more about Maori culture and history.

There were many different departments, Maori history, natural history, kids section, World Wars and the most terrifying part had to be shell cottage. Yes I get it, shells are pretty but what possessed you to decorate the walls with hundreds of them? I felt like I was stuck inside Ariel's vagina, a bit too much for me.

The museum was free entry as I feel all museums should be. It was the perfect place to spend a rainy day in Christchurch while spending next to nothing. If you get the chance and the weather you should also check out the botanical gardens. Very peaceful and calming place to spend your time.

It was just a short walk from my hostel (eventually when I was walking the right way) I would highly recommend checking it out.

Filmed partially on my Samsung S6 and partially on my Canon PowerShot SX41OIS.

Music from the audio library. The song is called l u v t e a by . Link to the song .
