"America's Best Inspirational Dance Company", ViZion Dance, Inc., pays tribute to Community Luminaries in the areas of Civil Rights, Community Leadership, Music Education, Cultural Arts and Dance at their annual "A Day of Respect" Gala (2018) held at the historic Hammonds House Museum in Atlanta, GA. (with live musical accompaniment by the incomparable "UnKnown Lyric"; Artistic Director/ Choreographer: DeWayne Brown; Choreographer: Brittany Smith). The performance begins with a special tribute in honor of history maker and Shero, Major General (ret) Marcelite J. Harris who was a planned honoree before her untimely passing in September 2018.
