Three planted aquariums displayed at the booth of ADA Deutschland during InterZoo 2012. Every tank is different, being an example of a different aquascaping style.

00:20 - the largest tank, and example of "lots of plants" style (this is only my taxonomy of styles ;) ). The back part would probably need lots of trimming, to prevent stemmed plants from growing too high. Plants used are: Hemianthus micranthemoides (stemmed plant in the back), Eleocharis accicularis, Staurogyne repens, Hygrophila pinnatifida, Glossostigma elatinoides. You'd need a lot of light, ferts and CO2 to get such dense carpet of Glossostigma.

01:17 - aquarium arranged in iwagumi style. I'm not sure what the stones are - maybe ADA Seiryu Stones...? As for the plant used here, it is Eleocharis parvula.

01:53 - aquarium arranged in a ryuboku-like style - driftwood plays an important role. Quite interesting composition, however, for some reason, I like the right part better than the left part. I don't know why exaclty - it has more details, more complication? I'm not sure, but the left side seems to be somewhat "empty", so to say... And it's probably not because fish stay rather on the right side - it's something about the composition. Maybe the rocks, which are absent on the left? Anyways, I've filmed both sides, so you can decide for yourself :) Plants used in this layout are: Hemianthus callitrichoides, Anubias nana, Pogostemon helferi, Staurogyne repens, Eleocharis accicularis, Cryptocoryne sp., Sagittaria subulata (I think - the grass-like plant in the back), and some sort of aquatic moss. Fishes are Paracheirodon simulans.
