Juniper, a 1983 Pearson 424 C-Plan Ketch Bluewater cruiser, blends classic William Shaw design and rock-solid Pearson fiberglass construction with a complete systems refit and a sail plan that's very easy to handle short-handed.
Her current owners have sailed her extensively and upgraded her stem-to-stern with safety, redundancy, and autonomy in mind. She is outfitted to be completely off-grid, including a new Climma air conditioner designed for battery power.

Her long waterline and solid displacement yield a comfortable motion offshore while remaining maneuverable in tight anchorages. Her 5'25" draft enables shallow access. Her robust Norseman standing rigging provides redundancy and safety. She also comes with a spinnaker and storm sails that can hank on to a removable forestay. Typical cruise 6.57 kt @ 2200 RPM at less than 1 GPH.
She also comes with a 2019 9'8" inflatable dingy.
Delivery & Training:
Seller can deliver within 150 miles or so of New York City (his schedule permitting) and is happy to give the new owner instruction on sailing her and her systems.
