Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway asked Hands Up Puppets to create two Puppet/Ventriloquist Dolls of Ant and Deck for this Challenge Item. HuP doesn't usually make Dolls but ITV wanted a gentle caricature in HuP's unique style and were given a relatively freehand to do so with progress photo's being regularly sent and fed back on by Production. This process allowed HuP to create them in quite a short time. With Marcus always having had an interest in Variety and Ventriloquism it was a delight to be involved with this project and to get to work with these great figures of Entertainment and the genre.
