The lallantop team has reached Tamil Nadu for the coverage of Lok Sabha election 2024. Passing through many cities of Tamil Nadu, our team reached Ramnathpuram. Students of AIIMS Madurai are studying in the temporary campus of a government medical college of Ramnathpuram. These students demonstrated outside the college with their demands. The students allege that the administration had promised them that Madurai AIIMS would be constructed very soon but even after 5 years of laying the foundation stone, the construction work of the college has not been completed. Students say that they are not getting even basic facilities in the government college of Ramanathapuram.
