Has helped our hips and shoulders
It's soft, we do sink down into it a lil bit, the 3", but that's what we were looking for, something soft but also to give support on hips and shoulders. It does that. I always woke up walking like an old man getting out of bed and this has definitely helped out. We also got a pad with the sides on it that we have over the memory foam and fits around snug on the mattress. This has helped this memory foam from moving around. Can't say it's cooling, but it's definately not hot either, I think people that complains about being hot, should change their sheets up to some other fabric. I'm a big guy and sweat a lot working, but not while sleeping.
