End of the Weak - MC Challenge
If you think you have what it takes to be crowned the next MC Challenge CHAMPION,
EODub (End Of the Weak) was founded in 2000 as one of the few weekly platforms in NYC where hungry MCs could showcase and hone their talent. EODub's cutting-edge competition, The MCChallenge, has changed the face of International Hip Hop,offering MCs from around the world an opportunity to compete against each other on a global scale.

What is the MC Challenge?
We have seen the battle circuit for years. While battles can be funny, they are not always the best measuring stick of a true MC's skills. Honestly, battle MCs are often comedians over hip-hop beats, not hip-hop artists.
On the other hand, there are pay-to-play competitions or "showcases" where artists are actually putting up their own prize, not the promoter, organizer or event sponsors.
So we envisioned a unique competition that truly tests even the most talented MCs. In the MC Challenge, contestants compete in five rounds: Beat Juggling, Written's, A Capella's, Cypha's, and everyones favorite: The Freestyle Grab Bag.
Throughout the event a panel of judges awards points for lyrics, creativity, stage presence, delivery and crowd reaction. This is unlike the traditional battle format, where contestants compete head to head while making fun of each other. Our MC Challenge fosters more positivity while testing a greater range of skills.
The first-ever MC Challenge was in the year 2000 in the back of a restaurant in NYC's Lower East Side. That one alone featured WebbaFied and Immortal Technique. Champions over the years include Jin, Iron Solomon, Datin, Nems, Jess Jamez, Chocolate Thai, Blind Fury, Hom, Subcon, Pack FM, Pumpkinhead, Reef Da Lost Cause, Breez Evahflowin, C-Rayz Walz, Poison Pen and many, many more.
