Jeremiah's Hope Academy is a unique program created in response to two distinct needs: 1) to place well-qualified and dedicated entry level employees in health care institutions, and; 2) to train returning veterans for employment opportunities to help meet the needs of an underserved community. The program is a creative, innovative and replicable solution to a community problem. Using readily available facility, financial and human resources along with partnerships with the Workforce Investment Act, veterans' benefits programs, vocational rehabilitation and other existing agencies, affordable, high-quality training programs are created. This session will present a methodology for assessing resources, documenting financial benefit and connecting with partnering agencies.
