I’m officially jumping into A Link to the Past, one of the most legendary Zelda games ever made. Even though I’ve played several 3D Zelda games recently, this is my first real time sitting down and playing through this classic from start to finish.

In this episode, we make our way through the Eastern Palace, take on the armored knight enemies, and face the dungeon boss for the first time. Right away I can see why people hold this game in such high regard. The pacing, the music, and the dungeon design still feel incredible.

As someone who grew up mostly on Sega and PlayStation, I missed a lot of Nintendo classics growing up, so this whole playthrough is about finally catching up and experiencing these games properly.
