Install CasaOS
Open Terminal on your Linux machine.
Run the following command to execute the CasaOS installation script: curl -fsSL https://get.casaos.io | sudo bash
Once installed, access the CasaOS Web UI by opening a browser and entering the server's address followed by :81 (e.g., http://yourserverip:81).
Create an account by setting your username and secure password.
Install NordVPN and Enable Meshnet
Go to the CasaOS dashboard and select Terminals and Logs from the top navigation.
Log in using your Linux credentials (not your CasaOS credentials).
In the Terminal window, paste the following command to install NordVPN
Once installed, add your user to the "nordvpn" group: sudo usermod -aG nordvpn $USER
Log in to your NordVPN account. You can use a token to do so. (See here for help: https://support.nordvpn.com/hc/en-us/...)
Enable Meshnet by running: nordvpn set meshnet on
Set Up Meshnet Permissions for Remote Access
Set the appropriate permissions by running the following commands in the Terminal:
Enable remote device access: nordvpn meshnet peer remote allow yourmeshnetpeerhere
Allow your phone to use CasaOS as a routing endpoint: nordvpn meshnet peer remote allow yourmeshnetpeerhere
Use your remote device (e.g., phone) to access CasaOS via Meshnet: http://yourmeshnetpeerhere:81
