I'll get this out of the way. Is this actually a new hardest Celeste map? Very likely yes. I personally think that I'm very good at theo/throwable gameplay, and I got through every other room in this map in around 5-6 hours TOTAL. I'd say the rest of the map is around mid-high 2* difficulty, but Abaddon is when the difficulty just skyrockets. This single room took nearly 30 hours, making it the longest I've spent on a room in Celeste AND clearing a map. Now I did almost manage to clear around 20 hours in, but I still didn't clear it. And even then if I did, I'd have said that this would've been harder than Dashless+ and LXVI. Abaddon is simply brutal in difficulty. But who knows, currently only me and Mei have significant progress on this room, and maybe Issy will just completely obliterate this room in 10 hours idk. But still, it's extremely likely this may be the hardest (at at least one of) room in Modded Celeste.

As for my personal experience, I thought most of the map was pretty fun! For being made in very little time, I personally liked most of the gameplay. Though as usual there were always some random spots in rooms that kinda just sucked (like pre-nerf R9 Sumber start). Definitely my least favorite room was R7 Agony, consisting of the most ANNOYING 1f at the start of the room and at the time of playing, a completely RNG cornerboost ending. For the other rooms, I don't really think there's anything as notable. One tech that I did have to learn was the dream jump hyper (or DHJ or Mickey Mouse). I remember having a really hard time learning this input (especially cause the "tutorial" requires a controlled jump), but believe it or not these do get extremely consistent.

Now Abaddon. I did mention this when talking about difficulty, but yes this is an extremely difficult room. Of the four quarters in this room, I don't really know which one is the hardest anymore, but it's between Q2 and Q3. Q2 used to be really difficult, but eventually got consistent. Q3 when starting out seemed to be not that bad, but I soon realized how easy it was to die not only due to nerves, but because this quarter is generally very awkward in some places and generally easy to die in. Q1 is like 50/50, sometimes you clear it multiple times in a row, sometimes you just get stuck at the beginning bumpers cause they SUCK! And Q4 is definitely the easiest, albeit possibly easiest to die to. Being centered around just speed and dream blocks, it's very die-able. Now I still think I did start to get a little unlucky cause y'know, dying 10 times in the same spot in Q4 isn't exactly normal luck (maybe a skill issue). But despite this, I still think it's the easiest quarter.

My take on "Don't Choke" is this: it's really not that difficult like I'm sorry lol. I can definitely see how people think this part is absolutely horrible to put at the end of the room, but practicing it you realize that it isn't bad at all (at least for me). There's 2 spots that are die-able: The turnaround bumper and the bumper after the fall. Basically everything else in that room was "free." Now I do also agree that this isn't really a "Don't Choke," but basically another (smaller) room. But I think that eventually, this becomes closer to what a "Don't Choke" could feel like, as I only died two (TECHNICALLY ONE) times to it.
