Continuing our off-grid solar build, we finally get the inverter mounted on the wall and install two PV disconnect switches as we start laying out how everything will tie together. This is a big step toward disconnecting and replacing our old solar system and bringing the new setup online.

After a productive day working on the power system, we take a break and head out for a nature ride into Cave Creek Canyon. The creek is flowing, the air is cold, and we even find some snow tucked away in the shadows. Cameras in hand, we slow things down, hike along the water, and soak in the quiet before heading home by sunset.
