Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!!

I could not choose a better day to upload this video. In El Salvador, February 14th is known as "Day of Love and Friendship", it's a celebration of all kinds love: Friendship, family, pets, hobbies, work, romantic, and you!

I want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support throughout the years - my ten year channel anniversary is just around the corner! Can you believe that??? There is no way I would have not continued to make videos if I didn't love it and without your support.

ABOUT THE VIDEO

The idea and concept of the video is to trigger those ASMR tingles with visual stimuli.

I was experimenting and wanted to see how much tinles can be triggered with little sound.
I only speak three times throughout the video and my friend, Rosie speaks once at the end.

This video was recorded in Mexico in 2021 - yeah, it took me that long to upload it because I wasn't sure about the sound quality.

Anywho, I was In Mexico on vacation so i didnt have my video recording equipment. We recorded very late at night, but there was still some traffic noise and the neighbour must have know we needed peace and quiet because he started making noise. The original video was 40 minutes long, so yeah, you can imagine how much precious footage I had to cut out because of the interruptions and sudden loud bump sounds from next door.

The video is about pampering and brushing Rosie's hair. She had a lot of knots, so I had to be very careful - that's why I look grumpy in the video - I am not. I am concentrating lol.

Even though the video is mostly improvised, Rosie and I discussed some of the products we'd use and so on, I would like to confirm that she consented to me brushing her hair and touching her face. I also washed my hands prior to recording.

There are no beauty filters or colour corrections on the footage. What you see is what you get. Again, I did not have my equipment. Instead, I used my smartphone to record it, that's why I keep looking at the camera because I had to make sure the phone hadn't fallen asleep.

I used a tiny mic, but it recorded a lot of whitenoise, which I tried to minimize in editing as much as possible. The rain sounds are a sound effect of mine that I apply on my videos to add a soothing sound effect.

If there's an issue with the sound, please let me know in the comments and maybe I can upload a new version without sound, and just record a commentary.

Also, I know many of you love these types of videos. I do too. I love collaborating others, and I have a line up of volunteers. This is why I ask that you subscribe to my channel, share my videos, comment and click like so that my channel can grow and be able to produce more content.

Wouldn't it be great if with your support I could take a year off from work and just make hair brushing videos?? You never know!

My friend Rosie is an amazing hairstylist in Mexico and owns the hair salon: Atmmars. She cuts all kinds of hair and her specialty is dying long, very long dark hair. I swear she is gifted!

I have long dark curly hair and I have always wanted to dye it different colours. Rosie chose the colour that I have in the video. Yes, dyed hair is chemically processed but she didn't fry it. She is careful. If you want to see more of her work, check out her Facebook page:
