2S3 "Acacia" is a Soviet 152-mm divisional self-propelled howitzer.
Developed at the Ural Plant of Transport Engineering. 2C3 "Acacia" is designed to suppress and destroy manpower, artillery and mortar batteries, rocket launchers, tanks, firepower, control points and tactical means of nuclear attack.The 2S3 became a well-known self-propelled artillery after combat operations in Afghanistan where it proved to be an effective and reliable artillery system. 2S3 were used quite successfully during two Chechen wars and military conflicts on the territory of former USSR.
