💔 This is a duet for the Woman whose life didn't go as planned, whether that be not getting married, infertility or miscarriage, failure, etc. I wrote this song after my own heartbreak and wounded dreams in life. I stopped asking God if he would fulfill my dreams and started asking him how I could fulfill His. Once I did this my life found the healing I longed for. 💔

Wounded Dreams is my story — written from the ache of infant loss, infertility, miscarriage, and unmet longings I never thought I’d face. It’s a song for the woman whose life didn’t turn out like she imagined. Whether you’ve lost a baby, never married, or carry silent grief no one sees… this duet is for you. It is the difficult but vital lesson for me to learn how to balance grief and joy.

🎤 Sung by myself (Amanda Joy Smith) and my sister, Hope Cooksey, this raw and emotional duet gives voice to what many women feel but rarely say out loud. Through deep personal pain, God taught me something life-changing — a truth that brought me peace and joy. It’s not what most people say, and to be honest, what they want to hear, but it’s the secret to my present happiness and gratefulness.
