Adding an aluminum driveshaft to your Mustang will help drop some rotational mass of your ride. This reduction in unsprung weight helps improve acceleration and reduces driveline vibrations (especially in Fox Body Mustangs) to give you a smoother ride.

The FRPP M4602G aluminum driveshaft features a strong 6061-RT62 Aluminum construction for high strength and features a 28 spline yoke. It comes fully assembled w U-Jonts, Slip Yoke and Rear Flange making installation a breeze! They are designed to fit 1979-95 Mustang V8s and 1994-04 Mustang V6s.

The M-4602-G driveshaft measures in at 45.5" long (center of u-joint to center of u joint). It is a 3.5" diameter design with 0.114" wall thickness seamless drawn tube build. The rear axle flange will bolt right up to any 7.5" or 8.8" rear end on any of the following Mustangs:

79-95 Mustang 5.0L/5.8L with Manual Transmission (SROD/T5)

79-95 Mustang 5.0L/5.8L with Manual Transmission (Tremec 3550 - Must use driveshaft spacer on 94-95)

83-93 Mustang 5.0L/5.8L with Automatic Transmission (C4/AOD)

94-04 Mustang 3.8L/3.9L V6 with Manual Transmission (T5)

96-04 Mustang 3.8L/3.9L V6 with Automatic Transmission (Must Re-use Factory Transmission Yoke from Stock Driveshaft)
