Lone Star Opening Night 2013

On the 6th of August 2013, the new Lone Star Restaurant reopened on their original site after three years of forced closure. The original Lone Star began in 1988 and quickly became a fun night out for Christchurch people, serving great food and the perfect place to meet and celebrate with friends. The Lone Star restaurant has grown from those beginnings into a nation wide chain serving up good times for thousands of New Zealanders every night of the week. The original Lone Star was lost in the September 2010 earthquakes and for Christchurch people, having the Lone Star back on its original site is a clear sign that Christchurch is well on the road to recovery.
