Quantum mechanics is famous for its uncertainty principle that limits what you can measure. But oddly enough, quantum effects can actually help scientists make better measurements. This is what the field of quantum metrology is concerned with. In this video I explain what quantum metrology is and go through a few examples of what you can do with it.
