Should You Bow Your Wrist At The Top Of The Backswing?

Описание к видео Should You Bow Your Wrist At The Top Of The Backswing?

One of the latest trends is to bow your wrist at the top of the backswing. This tip explains if you should be doing this or not.

So you're watching golf on TV and you see the swings of Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa and Jon Rahm and you see them bow the lead wrist at the top of the backswing so you think that maybe you should be doing that too or someone has told you to do bow your wrist like them.

Think about it for a second. These players are tour pros. You are not. These players started as kids while most amateurs started as adults. This is a major difference between them and you. Over my career I have fixed countless kids in this bowed wrist position at the top of the backswing. Listening to interviews with Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa both said they did not have lessons at kids. So with their bowed wrist position the learned how to make this work for them.

As an amateur trying to get this bowed top of the backswing position is never going to work. So instead of wasting your time watch this tip to find out why you shouldn't be doing this and start learning a square position at the top.
