Tsukihime Plus+Disc - Geccha 2 (1 of 2)

This switches back and forth between talking about the scenario for Melty Blood and the canceled Satsuki Route in Tsukihime. The Satsuki Route part is the reason I decided to upload this.

First of all, Tsukihime Plus-Disc was made as a fan-pandering short story sequel-esque... thing for Tsukihime. It does have an actual main "Story Mode" titled "Alliance of Illusionary Eyes." This story is not very well-known and generally under-appreciated. I'm thinking about uploading it, in entirety (it is basically impossible to find it alone and not in a package with Tsukihime nowadays anyway, so it's not like I'm uploading all of an entire product), later. A very important thing to note is that it is the very first time that it is clearly revealed what Tohno Shiki actually looks like. In other words, it introduces an actual character sprite for him. And when I say it is a very important thing to note, I mean it here. To understand the true experience the original fans would've had when they played through that story the first time, you'd have to be in that mindset, where seeing a sprite of Tohno Shiki is actually a major surprise. This is actually a major element to the story itself.

But anyway, rather than Plus-Disc, about Plus+Disc.... Plus-Disc originally came with a few rare Tsukihime demos, the first 4 chapters of Kara no Kyoukai, the main story I just mentioned, and one extra little joke story. Later on, they started selling a package set called Tsuki-Bako which contains the original Tsukihime, Plus+Disc, Kagetsu Tohya, and a demo for Melty Blood. Plus+Disc contains both of the original stories (main story and extra) from Plus-Disc ported from the crappy old Tsukihime engine (which is actually the main reason I still haven't uploaded anything from Tsukihime, it is such a pain to have to work around that crap engine while worrying about recording) to the new, better engine that runs Fate, plus added 2 new extra joke stories. This is one of those. In other words, to get this particular "story," you have to have Tsuki-Bako. Note Tsuki-Bako is how I got my Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya anyway.
