Today we’re looking at the latest version of the much loved Caliburn kit from Uwell, the Caliburn KOKO. It takes inspiration from the original model but this time revamped it into a more boxy little package. It’s constructed from hard wearing aluminium alloy to make it both lightweight and sturdy. Inside the shell, there’s a 520mAh battery and a chipset with a whole lot of safety protections built in. It has an LED indicator to let you know how much battery remains and recharges through the included USB cable.

When it comes to using the KOKO you have an extra pod option than the original. It’s compatible with the standard Caliburn pods with a 1.4ohm resistance but now you can also enjoy a slightly more airy and cloudy vape with the new 1.2ohm pods as well. Setting it all up is a breeze, just pop open the pod and fill with e-liquid and let it settle for 10 minutes to soak the coil. Then, click it into the battery and inhale to vape. There’s no buttons to speak of and the Caliburn KOKO will fire at 11 watts to give you a mouth to lung inhale - ideal for those of you using 50:50 e-liquids and nic salts. It’s easy to set up and maintain making it an ideal starter kit for totally new vapers or as a backup device if you want something pocket friendly for taking on the go. Even with its modest size, it offers smooth flavour and a super satisfying hit.
