I remember like it was yesterday when I started my business and went all in with lawn care. In fact, we are going into our 11th season, believe it or not. But I will tell you, I don't forget for a second what it was like when I was getting my business going, and all the feelings right about this time of the season.

I happened to have the camera with me the other day and, I just got overwhelmed thinking about the past 10 years, and just the crazy story of how everything has went down. I wanted to turn the camera on and capture some of these thoughts I was feeling and just give some of you new guys some encouragement.

Let me just say it short and sweet, if this is your first year in business, I wish you guys sincerely the BEST of luck. My hope for you is that you absolutely CRUSH your first season. Are there fears, risks, uncertainties? You betcha. But don't let that fear and doubt get in the way of your new enterprise.

I mean it when I say it, I know what it's like to struggle. I know what it's like to have literally NO resources to your name. No connections, no influence, no contracts. Pretty much all I had was hope, and I don't even know if I had that, to be honest.

All I had was a work ethic and a I will not be denied attitude and spirit. Period.

I wish you guys the best in 2018, good bad or ugly. Just know that you're not the only one out there hustling and trying to make it happen. A community of folks stick together thick and thin. Whether you subscribe to that or not, that's your call. But on my channel and the folks I interact with here, I just want to let you guys know that I believe in ya and, I know you guys CAN and WILL crush it.

Hope this little video inspires you guys and provides some fuel and motivation or encouragement for you guys to push through. To get yours, and to have the GUTS to go all in this season, once and for all.
