Yabas: are the deities that represent the feminine in the Yoruba culture
Iansa: is represented by elements like winds, lightning, and storms. She is associated with the colour red. While Yemanja is the great mother, the peacemaker she is represented by the sea. Like the tides, she can be "sometimes still, sometimes violent." Her colour is blue.

The Voices Factory activated their social network for this project, allowing for collaboration with artists working in varying mediums, with diverse skills and cultural perspectives. After pitching the project, artists from all walks of life, including socio-disadvantaged artists, People Of Colour (POC) and creatives from countries that have been most affected by the pandemic, agreed to collaborate on the project. The videos demonstrate Do-It-Yourself (DIY) instructions for various creative endeavours, including terrarium-making, banner-making, propagating succulents, cutting and spraying stencils and many more.
