Overfilling the GR6 is necessary when you pull high-G from acceleration. Due to overfilling, the trans can push oil out of the rear vent. We are trying to relocate the vent to the front, and make it smarter in operation, to see if it will resolve this issue. The current fix for this is to use a trans catch can, but they are very poorly engineered as they bring in water from the vehicle wheel well and ruin the transmission. So coming up with a solution which does not use a catch can is key. This is a video of an idea we are going to try in our test mule GR6.
