STORYLINE:
This summer's unprecedented floods have caused huge damage to the infrastructure of Pakistan, cutting off many areas from the rest of the country.
Bridges, hotels, dams, and other structures were swept away.
Highways and tunnels in Baluchistan, the poorest province of the country, have taken the worst hit.
The floods have also damaged a number of railway tracks and bridges, which connect Baluchistan province with the rest of the country.
The railway tracks in Sindh Province were also inundated, cutting off the province from the rest of the country for more than a month.
Pakistan, which contributed only 0.8% to the world’s emissions, now faces damages estimated at more than $30 billion, more than 10% of its GDP.
