This video is about an appeal of Surplus Teachers of School Education Department, government of Punjab who were recently rationalized and declared as surplus teachers from their schools. In August 2025, these teachers were ordered to apply for transfer to another school. They applied for the transfer in the rationalization round. They were transferred and they joined the new stations. Now, in October 2025, during the open transfer round, the post they left has been shown as vacant post for the other teachers to apply. These surplus teachers want to go back to their original stations but their merit is very low. They appeal to the minister of education, Rana Sikandar Hayat to award them extra 10 marks for the merit.
