- 이 표현은 말하는 사람이 선행절의 이야기에 대해 몰랐거나 예상 또는 기대를 하지 못했을 때 사용해요. 그리고 선행절의 내용이 맞다고 생각했는데 그것이 사실이 아님을 알게 되었을 때 사용해요. (This expression is used to end a caluse stating something the speaker was not aware of or did not anticipate. On the other hand, is used to end a clause stating what the speaker had assumed to be the case; therefore, it expresses the speaker”s realization that his or her assumption was incorrect.)
