After the good vibrations that left us the past summer course, in which "Mr. Slade" of Leix & Hitch was one of the most important tracks of the summer, Novo Music skips Novotek Raw Series back to the arena with their fourth installment. The responsible of this release is none other than Unomas (MIA), a newcomer from Miami, who designs a complete and suggestive sound universe on this "Got To Be Funky".

"Got To Be Funky" opens the release with an excellent groovy exercise, marked by a full swing deep beat. Luna City Express shows us an awesome remix of this "Got To Be Funky". The Berlin duo seduces us with his usual housy beats gravitating on a bright and warm sound speech, where the chords and keyboards take a prominent role from beginning to end.

On the backside of the vinyl we find "The Rules", a vocal piece sculpted and polished with an excellent and sexy female vocal arrangements. Label chiefs, Leix and Samu, show us their well-known musical aesthetics with two great remixes. The first one, is heading towards a deep and hypnotic landscape. While the second, despite maintaining the same line of the first remix, becomes something more dub, showing us at the same time, the inexhaustible source of resources that both artists treasure.
An excellent and complete package which certifies the reason of the success of Novotek Raw Series and which, in all likelihood, will be one of the releases to keep in mind in this winter.
