Whitewashing (Lime Washing) - Building Chicken Coop from Dog Kennel

The old fence boards make for a cool looking chicken coop, but they could also be giving Chicken Skin Parasites a place to live. This Lime Washing or White Washing treatment should help keep the coop parasite numbers down. Keep in mind that this is my first time doing this Lime Wash, so if I stated something wrong I'm still learning. Please help me out my sharing your knowledge in the comments.

Giving barnwood a rustic wood look something like a vintage shiplap can be achieved with whitewashing. I looked up how to whitewash to get some diy project tips before trying this for the first time for myself.
