Unpopular opinion: I like raw cards more than graded cards

I had a comment a few weeks ago asking why I crack cards out of slabs, and I decided to ramble about it. I've gone through phases where I loved graded cards, but these days I prefer raw. Most collectors disagree, the market disagrees, but here's my personal (non-finance) reasons why I think there's nothing like a clean raw card!
