In this episode, we are going to start a five-part series on the DR650 electrical system. The DR has 4 distinct sub systems within its overall electrical system, the Ignition, Starting, charging, and lighting systems. Over the five parts we will look at each one specifically. However, in this, the first episode we will look at the general tools you need to make your way through the testing process on the motorcycle.
I would like to point out that I am not a mechanic but am just a guy that likes to tinker so please do not take what I am saying as gospel and if unsure consult the service manual for the full procedures.
