QGIS Field Calculator Basics

This tutorial provides general information about how to use the QGIS Field Calculator to create and update attribute fields and values for vector datasets. Also included are examples of how to create expressions to concatenate field values, perform arithmetic for numeric fields, and to calculate feature area and length.
