Becoming a father changed the way I see a lot of things. Watching my young son find pure joy in something as simple as a cup of yogurt made me stop and think about what really matters. It also made me ask a question I cannot shake. How can we live in the greatest country in the world and still allow children to go hungry?

In this video, I talk about free school lunches, daycare costs, and the disconnect between calling ourselves pro life while opposing policies that help children once they are born. If we are willing to force birth through legislation, what responsibility do we take to make sure those kids are fed, cared for, and given a real chance to succeed? I am not here to yell. I am here to understand. So I ask the question I keep coming back to as a father and as a neighbor. What am I missing?
