When somebody messed Decaying Winter up, they had to post this update to fix the ongoing missing assets. A lot of things have been overhauled and changed however the aspect of the game remains as it is because this is just a pre alpha of the actual Decaying Winter: Lost Concept. The Lost Concept update will be a separate game and this current game is still the legacy.

Let's review the update, better graphics, better lighting, better UI (even though the outfit UI is bad and it needs more polishing). But overall the game has a very nice quality of life update. Next thing you know ur hands go flying cause of fps issue

They made N10 twice as difficult cause there are now 6 waves instead of 4. And even if they made evacuation way more visible, removing evac loot does not make it better... I miss the old sound effect when you complete evac, the "PWOOSH!" like zealot shield sound effect.

The game itself feels nice though cause of the QoL update. You can wield multiple melee weapons, using stimulants/ifak on evac, some items giving more scraps.

I like the update, although maybe some people are having performance issues due to how unoptimized the game is currently. But that is alright because the devs are trying their best to improve the game and I appreciate them for taking their time to publish such high quality game.
