Porous Media in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation

One of the most common applications of SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation, the integrated CFD tool for SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, is analyzing airflow in piping or tubing – often through semi-permeable materials such as filters, screens, or membranes. Product manager Damon Tordini shows how to take advantage of the Porous Media feature in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation which allows the user to represent these situations without having to directly model or simulate individual pores in a material.
