KATU's Angelica Thornton talked with Mayor Keith Wilson in his first televised interview since taking office. Part of the discussion focused on how Wilson plans to tackle the city’s biggest crisis – homelessness.

During his campaign, Wilson made the ambitious promise to end unsheltered homelessness within a year.

“I'm more emboldened than ever. I'm more hopeful and I'm more certain it's going to happen now the outpouring of support the first meeting I took was from the business community and they offered 40 facilities for potential shelters,” Wilson said.
